The death has occurred of Sean Connolly, Hollymount House Stud, Hollymount and formerly of Old Leighlin and Oxford, England, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family, on May 16th, 2024, at his home.

Beloved husband of the late Kathleen, much loved father of Maureen, Siobhán, Kathleen and John and adored grandfather of Jordan, Amy, Freya, Anthony, Rían, Sadhbh, Fallon, Anna, Tom and Grace. He will be sadly missed by his loving son and daughters, grandchildren, daughter-in-law, sons-in-laws, brothers, sister, brothers-in-laws, sisters-in-laws, nephews, nieces, relatives and many friends.

Reposing at his home Hollymount House Stud, Hollymount, Carlow (Eircode R93 E208) from 2pm on Friday, May 17th, concluding with Prayers at 8pm that evening. Removal on Saturday at 10.30am to St. Abban’s Church, Killeen, Co. Laois (Eircode R93 HK58) arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.
