The death has occurred of Breada Whelan, (née Quirke) of “Green Lawns”, Hollymount, Carlow, Co. Laois and formerly of Coolcullen, Co. Kilkenny, surrounded by her loving family, on December 14th, 2022, at St Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny. Beloved wife of the late Martin, much loved mother of Michael, Hugh, Dorothy and Oliver, adored grandmother of Martin Óg and Katie, cherished mother-in-law of Marion and Nicola and treasured sister of the late George, James, Maria and Diana. She will be sadly missed by her loving sons, daughter, grandchildren, daughters-in-law, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at her home, “Green Lawns”, Hollymount, Carlow (Eircode R93 F851) on Friday from 2pm concluding with Prayers at 8pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday at 1pm in St. Abban’s Church, Killeen. Burial afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.
